Johnny Nash to Join Festival
Singer Johnny Nash whose many hit songs include "I Can See Clearly Now" will join us for the Texas Christian Arts Festival and hopefully the festival will be part to the launch of his new Gospel CD.

Cross Wind Productions to Screen Teen Film
Cross Wind Productions' founder and Executive Director Barbara Sundstrom will screen one of their latest teen productions on our Cinema Stage. After the film Barbara will be available to answer questions and share her rich experiences working with teens in Christian cinema.

Lakewood Drama Team to Perform
Wendell Burton the Director of Creative Ministries of Lakewood Church, Houston is bringing the Lakewood Players to the first annual Texas Christian Arts Festival - Waller, Texas. Wendell, a gifted producer, director and actor will be leading his troupe in an original, God-honoring retelling of the story of Waller and its history. New Festival Website and $500 Poster Contest
Our official website www.ChristianArtsFestival.com is up and announcing the entry rules for our 2008 Texas Christian Arts Festival Poster Contest. The winning artist will receive a $ 500. cash prize.

Jeannette Clift George Headlines Saturday Night
The Golden Globe nominated star of The Hiding Place and founder and artistic director of the premiere Christian Theater, A.D. Players will be performing her one-woman, one-act show, Jeannette Clift George On Stage Saturday night November 22, 2008.
This show has played to sold out houses in its recent 8 week run at Grace Theater in Houston. Funny, poignant and inspiring, George takes her audiences on an insightful journey to Jeannette the actress and Jeannette a woman whose life has live out our festival theme of "Pursuing God through the Arts.
The Hiding Place will be shown as part of the festival film series. Check back for screening times and information.
